Education

• I graduated from high school in Greece and went to a business school there. I worked for the Goessel School food service for nine years before starting work at Bethesda as a cook in 1992. I completed a dietary manager course and became the dietary manager in 1996.

Biography

Background:I was born on the island of Crete, which is part of Greece, and grew up with five brothers and sisters. I met my husband, Larry, when he was doing volunteer service with MCC in Greece. We were married in Greece and stayed there for one year. We came to Kansas and lived here for three years and our two sons were born here. We moved back to Greece for two years and our daughter was born during that time. When our oldest son was ready to start school, we came back to Kansas and have lived here since on a farm north of Goessel.

Personal Interests: I enjoy growing flowers, piecing quilts and playing with my two grandchildren. I love to be with people and enjoy my occasional trips back to Greece.
