Biography

Background: I grew up with my family in New Jersey which is where my parents and my sister still reside. At a friends’ wedding in St. Louis I was introduced to Rod Peters, and the rest, as they say, is history. Rod and I were married in 1978. Following several years working in Social Services at Bethesda, I was approached by Bethesda’s CEO – Glendene Flaming, about obtaining an administrator's license. I became Administrator of Bethesda in 1999 and was appointed as CEO/Administrator in 2001 after Glendene left to pursue other interests. I have truly been enjoying my role as the Bethesda Home CEO.

Personal Interests: I enjoy walking, cooking, reading. I love traveling and exploring new places. What I enjoy the most though is spending time with my family and with good friends.

Why Bethesda Home?: Serving on the Mennonite Health Service Alliance board, and as a member of the Progressive Health Care Alliance I see, visit and hear about a lot of different retirement communities. It is a privilege to work at Bethesda.
