Biography
Background:I’m from Newton, Kansas originally and married my wife Alice in 1976. We eventually moved to Denver
where I worked as a carpenter and after our second child was born in 1988 we returned to Newton. I decided to make
a career change and entered the nursing program at Hesston College, graduating in 1991. I began working at Bethesda
in 1994 . After a couple of years working as a charge nurse I was asked if I was interested in becoming an assistant
MDS Coordinator to assist Anita Parish RN. When she retired I took over that position full time.
Personal Interests: I enjoy music, camping, hiking, and skiing. Our family tries to do those things
together when we can. I also enjoy just being home and living in the country.
Why Bethesda Home?: It is fulfilling to be around the elderly and experience that stage of life with them.
