Alzheimer's Unit

A new self contained 12 bed care unit that features specially trained staff to ensure a comfortable, natural resident setting. This unit has cheerful, soothing colors and a specially designed program. Because people in the middle stages of Alzheimer's tend to wander, the unit is completely self-contained and secured — including a spacious outdoor courtyard. Planned activities are based on resident capabilities thus enhancing self-esteem.
