• Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics with a major of Dietetics and Institutional Management – Kansas State University

Biography

Background: I grew up on a farm close to Hope, Kansas with three sisters and one brother. My husband is a CPA and we moved to Newton in 1974 where I worked as a dietitian at Axtell Christian Hospital for a total of twelve years. In 1989, I started working part time at Bethesda Home. My husband and I have one son who lives in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Personal Interests:I enjoy playing tennis, singing and doing crossword puzzles. I like to listen to bluegrass music and love to attend music festivals.
