Pray daily for the residents, staff and the ministry of Bethesda
Give of my time by participating in giving programs for the residents
Visiting with individual residents
Reading with individual residents or in groups
Playing games with individual residents or in groups
Assist residents in going through the buffet line at meal times(7:30-8:00am; 11:30-Noon; 5:30-6:30pm)
Assist with folding church bulletins weekly (Fridays 3-4pm)
Take residents for wheel chair rides and visit with them outside
Write letters for residents
Help residents write their life stories
Coordinate creative writing group for residents
Help with crafts (Mondays 10:00-10:30am)

Assist in getting residents to and from Bible study (Tuesdays 10-11am)
Assist with ladies tea (Mondays 10:30-11am)
Help or participate with Men's coffee/singing hour (Fridays 10-11am)
Lead group singing (Thursdays 10:15-10:45am)
Play piano for group singing (Thursdays 10:15-10:45am)
Assist with taking residents on 'outings' i.e. zoo, museums, gardens,etc.
Help decorate at Christmas time
Grade School through High School students adopt a resident
Provide evening programs and Sunday chapel services
Maintain trees, flowers and garden
Assist with office work when needed
